Where to stop in a trip out west? - mounting a trip hammer
We are planning to take a trip to the West. We arrived at Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse. We live in Michigan, and in view of the expulsion. We also plan to roll back through the North Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin.
Are there other places to stop that you need. We have 15, 12, 9, and children 3 and older.

Forget Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse ...
Ignore the bad man made tourist traps and you will find in the wild!
If you want to see a good time to visit the Badlands (foot, car and the buffalo), the needle path in the Black Hills (you can take a day) to do so, Devil's Tower in Wyoming, is Reptile Gardens ( a great success with children) in Rapid City, go to Jewel Cave (Wind Cave is not nice for the tourists return) in the Black Hills, is increasing in many hiking trails in the mountains.
Some other things to see, as follows:
Corn Palace in Mitchell, SD
Palisades State Park, SD
